Casan & Tom’s Engagements in Columbus, Montana

Maci & Nick | Engagements

Here are some pictures from our latest shoot here in downtown Bozeman. Congratulations, Maci and Nick on the engagement!

Callie & Vince’s Ranch Wedding in Whitehall, Montana

Remember Callie & Vince?  They are married now and are great together!  The two were married at a gorgeous riverfront ranch near Whitehall, about 40 minutes west of Bozeman.  Anyways, enjoy this awesome peek at their wedding and all the best of luck to you two!

“I love them, absolutely perfect. You guys captured so much!”

- Callie

Kelly & Nate’s Wedding in Billings, Montana

You may remember Kelly & Nate’s beautiful and SNOWY engagement photography session at the Bozeman Public Library.  Well, the seasons have definitely changed, and we got to work with the two lovebirds again, only this time in the warm summer sun.  These guys did a great job planning their wedding, with a lovely ceremony at the Yellowstone Baptist College followed by a crazy fun reception at the Big Horn Resort, both in Billings, Montana.  Unfortunately there wasn’t time for a bridal session with just the two of them, but we were still able to sneak out and get a few of just the two of them.  It was a beautiful day, congrats you guys!

Callie & Vince are Engaged!

Anyone in Bozeman knows that the weather lately has been crazy.  It’s been raining almost every day, and it’s been difficult between weather and busy schedules to make this shoot happen.  Thanks, Vince & Callie, for your patience.  We think it was worth the wait.  ;-)

UPDATE (09.20.11) - See their wedding!

Engaged! – Kelly & Nate

The other weekend we got to do some awesome engagement pictures at the Bozeman Public Library for Kelly & Nate. There was just one problem: It was DUMPING snow. Normally weather like this might end up postponing a shoot, but as we’ve shown before, we can deal with it, and we just had to make it happen. These two had driven about two hours to get into town, so we just went for it. They were both such great sports, and it paid off. The pictures are awesome! Good luck in your wedding planning, guys!

UPDATE (08.13.11) – See their wedding!

Featured: Chris & Trudi

Many thanks to the folks over at Emmaline Bride (and naturally to Chris & Trudi) for featuring Chris & Trudi’s gorgeous downtown Bozeman wedding. They put together a beautiful day and it was just a blast to be there with them and shoot it.  Emmaline is a great resource for prospective brides interested in DIY and high-class ideas for planning and detailing their weddings.  Go check them out!

Trudi & Chris – The Day After

Since Trudi & Chris’ wedding as after dark, they decided to do a ‘day after’ session to round out the images from the weekend.  They stayed the night at the beautiful Sacajawea Hotel in Three Forks, Montana, so we shot around there a little bit then headed out towards the ‘three forks‘ proper from some sunset action.  Needless to say, these guys are just so in love its awesome.  Enjoy!

Married : Tera & Tevis

You gotta love these Montana winter weddings!  Meet Tera & Tevis.  These lovebirds sealed their love at the beautiful LDS Temple in Billings, Montana.  It was a beautiful day, and even though it was cold, they were good sports.  What a blast!

Trudi & Chris Tie the Knot!

Wow!  What a whirlwind couple of weeks it’s been!  First off, Happy New Year!  No, wait, Merry Christmas!  Whew, let’s just go ahead and kick off the first post of the new year with the (second to the) last wedding of 2010.  2010 was a great year for us, thanks to all for helping make it a reality.  Today it’s my pleasure to introduce you to Trudi and Chris.  These guys are great.  They were married at the Presbyterian Church on Babcock in downtown Bozeman.  The wedding was gorgeous, especially the reception, which took place at the Baxter Hotel.  Trudi & Chris (and family, I’m sure) did a great job putting together such a beautiful reception.  They both have about the nicest families anybody could ask for.  The really fun thing about this wedding is that the two lovebirds walked from the church to the reception, and it was SNOWING.  I mean snowing quite heavily.  As you may remember from the picture in their sneak peek post, this made for some SWEET pictures.  They were such troopers, and Trudi seemed to just be loving it as well, which is saying something for the bride on her wedding day.  ;-)  Anyways, take a look at the pictures and you’ll see what we mean when we talk about a fun wedding!

“Oh my goodness!!  They are so awesome! My mom cried when she look at them! =]”

- Trudi

Genevieve & Jeremy

This is Jeremy and Genevieve and their beautiful dog Zahara at Grotto Falls just south of Bozeman. We were all so glad we could make it up there before the snow started flying. What a gorgeous place and what a fun little family!

Anna & Brian are Engaged!

Meet Anna & Brian.  These two lovebirds are slated for marriage in 2011.  Have fun planning guys, hope you love your images as much as we do!

Kristen & Bob Tie the Knot!

Our great buddy Bob is married! In case you don’t know Bob, he and I go way back.  I’ve known him since the fourth grade, and we’ve been all over the place trying to climb, bike, and ski ourselves to death for years.  Well, now Bob is starting off on the biggest new adventure of his life, MARRIAGE.  Go BOB!  Here’s to the future, and thank you so much for letting us be there to experience it.

You may have seen Bob & Kristen’s engagements and climbing pictures in City of Rocks National Reserve.  He can also be spotted in the Adventure Gallery.

Misty & Josh: Married!

Josh & Misty, from our little sneak peek last week, were married on July 24th at the lovely Gallatin River Hideaway in Four Corners near Bozeman, Montana.  We had the privilege of shooting these two lovebirds’ engagements this spring, and have really seen how their love has grown and grown ever since.  We LOVE capturing these once-in-a-lifetime moments and emotions; thanks you two for letting us take part in your special day.  Enjoy the photographs.

“I love them! You guys did such a great job!”

- Misty

Bob & Kristen | Engagements in City of Rocks, Idaho

A couple of weekends ago we were privileged to work with our good buddy Bob and his sweet lady-friend Kristen to shoot their engagements.  This shoot was a little different than usual.  You see Bob and I go way back.  I’ve actually known Bob since we were in the fourth grade together, and we’ve been buds ever since.  You might have spotted him in the Adventure Gallery, specifically images three and eight on the first page, and the fourth and third to the last on the last page.  (As of 07.26.10)  Bob and I have been climbing, biking, and skiing together for nigh on ten years, so it was only fitting that we did the shoot in beautiful City of Rocks National Reserve.  CoR has been our (as far as climbing is concerned) mecca, and making the trip there feels like going home.  There are a lot of pictures from the weekend, but first we’ll post the ‘official’ engagement portraits.  Check out this post to see some climbing pictures from the day.  Congratulations, Bob & Kristen!  You guys make an awesome couple!

Oh, and another quick note.  You may be wondering what the deal is with the painting.  The night Bob proposed, they went and made this painting together.  Bob made Kristen close her eyes for a minute and wrote ‘Will you marry me?” on there.  So cute!

The Egberts | Family Portrait Session | Idaho Falls

We were lucky enough to shoot a little family get-together portrait session for the Egberts the other weekend.  They are dear friends of ours and it’s been fun to see the family grow and change.  The location was absolutely awesome!  We went down to this park right by the new Art Museum of Eastern Idaho on South Capital Ave. off Broadway in downtown Idaho Falls.  The evening light was just starting to be magical and just got better as we went, and it worked out awesome.  Thanks Tracy & Lori and co., you were great to work with!  Good luck on the mission Kyle!

“We were all gathered here at our house and were all able to see the pics together. Thank you – *they are perfect!!!!* Just what we wanted, and everyone loves them! We loved the way each picture came out!!!!!
We love you guys too!”

- Lori

Buzz & Rae Ann – January 2010

Melody & Scott: Married!

This wonderful couple, Melody & Scott, were married at the Timpanogos LDS Temple in Utah.  We were flattered that they chose to bring us down to shoot their special day.

Thank you Scott & Melody!  You guys were great to work with!  Let us know what you think and see the rest in the Client Galleries.

Ame Jo & Tyson’s Wedding – Part 2

We’ve finished up the second haul from Ame & Tyson’s wedding.  Right after their honeymoon, Tyson had to leave for four months to go through boot camp!  Ame is going to print them out and send them to Tyson so he can be in on the fun.   We love you, Ame Jo!  Thank you so much for letting us do these for you. We wish you guys the very best!

“I love, love, LOVE them!  I cried through all of them because they are so good and I miss Tyson so much.  Thank you guys so much, I love you both!”

- Ame Jo

Ame Jo & Tyson – Married!

You may remember Ame Jo and Tyson from an engagement shoot a while ago… Well, on May 30th, they tied the knot!  What a great couple they are.  Thank you Ame & Tyson for letting us share your exquisite day, and we wish you the very best!  This is just a little teaser, there are more to come as we get them processed.  Thanks!

Restoration Job

Hey everyone here’s a little change of pace.  Even though photography takes the center stage, Clark Imaging also specializes in photo restoration.  It seems like almost everyone has some old family photos for the 1920’s – or earlier – that are just sitting in a shoebox in the attic, literally rotten.  If those pictures are lost, then so is our link with our heritage.  It’s our responsibility and great privilege to preserve those memories.  No matter the fading or damage, it never ceases to amaze what we can get save out of old messed up photos.
These are of the father and grandfather of a three-generation military family.  The first one was an 8×10 with heavy water damage throughout and was stuck to the glass, and the second was a crinkled wallet that can now be printed at 8×10+.  Both have also been treated and toned to be printed as a triptych set with the photo of the grandson.

If you like what you see, check out the services page or look at the restoration category here on the blog.
